Roses can be planted in both fall and spring. I decided to plant them in the spring, as here in the Tver region, cold weather sets in unexpectedly in the fall, and the roses might not have time to take root.
I bought a hybrid tea rose from a gardening community. By the way, you can read about it on our website. 35 varieties of hybrid tea roses.
Before planting, I soaked the seedlings in a Vermicompost solution for about two hours. This can be done with plain water or with Kornevin. As a preventative measure, I soaked the seedlings in a copper sulfate solution for 10 minutes.
I placed humus and ash at the bottom of the planting hole (about 50-60 cm).
After adding a fertile layer on top, I positioned the rose, spreading out the roots. I covered it with soil and compacted it thoroughly.
Then I generously poured the liquid left over from soaking it.
It is essential to ensure that the grafting site is covered with soil.
