Dutch varieties are a selection from the Netherlands, which are characterized by high resistance to bad weather and do not require an abundance of sunlight to ripen.
These varieties were bred for cultivation in regions of the country with less favorable conditions for vegetable growth. The resulting varieties ripen easily in such areas, producing large yields. All varieties are labeled F1 because they are hybrids.
