What can you come up with for your dacha that's beautiful, cozy, and practical? I've compiled a few ideas in this article. I think they'll be easy to bring to life.

We're making a bar on the porch
A bar counter on the veranda of a country house can replace a gazebo. It's easy to create such a cozy area for entertaining guests and evening gatherings. Try to imagine how much you could extend the entryway railing. 30-40 cm is enough for a bar counter. You can further strengthen the countertop with wooden corners made of clapboard or a longitudinal beam nailed to the bottom. You can hang lanterns from above.
A veranda with a bar counter will become a favorite place to relax. I recommend providing protection from the start in case of rain. You can attach a roll-up film to the façade and secure it underneath. This way, the occasional summer thunderstorm won't disturb your privacy and you won't have to rush indoors.
Let's put an old bed to use
A swing that you can swing on while lying down is a really cool idea! All it takes is an old bed attached to chains. They're sold at many hardware stores. The key is to calculate the load correctly. This swing in a gazebo will be better than any hammock. If you don't have an old bed, you can build a frame from planks yourself. You can place a retractable orthopedic mattress or a sheet of high-density foam on it. Add a textile or knitted blanket, a couple of pillows—and you're ready to rock! This summer bed can also be placed on a veranda. The swing can be built outdoors, under a polycarbonate canopy.
Making glowing pebbles
And finally, nighttime paths. Phosphorus paints are in great demand these days. They're environmentally friendly and harmless to insects, pets, and people. I was very impressed by an idea I saw in a foreign publication. Phosphorus-painted pebbles scattered along a path paved with paving slabs are a wonderful solution if the area lacks nighttime lighting. Neon lighting will highlight the beauty of a pond or stream flowing from a drain.

Feeling your imagination running wild? Then it's time to take a fresh look at the property, through the eyes of a designer or artist.
