What conditions does cyclamen need and useful tips

Cyclamen loves light, but it dislikes bright rays. As for watering, when it's blooming, it requires ample moisture, but not overwatering. When dormant, water sparingly, but make sure the soil doesn't dry out. Of course, as with most flowers, use settled water. In this regard, caring for cyclamen is similar to caring for violets, which we also wrote about.

Water the cyclamen carefully so that it does not rot!

Cool temperatures are invigorating for the plant. It can be kept at temperatures around 16 degrees Celsius, and it will thrive. Therefore, it might be a good idea to move it to the balcony soon. If this isn't possible, try to keep the temperature no higher than 23 to 24 degrees Celsius.

The flower loves fresh air, so it's essential to ventilate the room where it's located. But avoid drafts.

Don't spray cyclamen! If water gets on the shoots or flowers, it may die!

But here's a tip: if you can't provide the plant with a comfortable temperature, mist the air around it with a spray bottle; this will benefit the cyclamen. Wet pebbles or expanded clay are another excellent option to help the plant survive the heat.
