The main rule is that violets need plenty of light, but they're wary of scorching rays. Keep them out of the midday sun. If you have your violet in a west, east, or south-facing window, shade it to prevent it from getting burned.
Please note that if the violet stretches its leaves upward, it definitely does not have enough light!

Around 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit) is the ideal temperature for Saintpaulias. If the temperature is much higher, around 28 degrees Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit), the violet will bloom. This should be taken into account when choosing the right conditions for our flower.
Saintpaulia hates drafts, they cause it to catch a cold and the roots to rot.
What kind of water does a violet need? It's best to let regular tap water sit for two days, then boil and cool. Keep in mind that the water shouldn't be too cold; just above room temperature is ideal.
Don't overwater your violet! Always remove excess water from the tray.
The easiest way to grow violets is in plastic pots. By the way, it's best to use a pot no larger than 10 cm in diameter, as this will ensure the violets bloom best.
